Product Review: Jamjahr Citrus Body Oil

With winter upon us its essential to hydrate the skin. We were lucky enough to try out the Jamjahr Citrus Body Oil. Even though this was supplied to us to review, our opinions are 100% honest.

About Jamjahr:
Jamjahr is an Australian owned brand that prides itself on using natural, organic and raw materials. All products are handcrafted, free of harsh chemical and in environmentally friendly packaging.

Thoughts:

It has a strong citrus scent (not as overwhelming or repulsive as the Jurlique Citrus Body Lotion)
Light weight
Blends easy when applied alone
Soaks fast into the skin
Works well when you add a few drops into a body moisturiser
No sticky feeling

Steph's overall thoughts;
I'm not a massive fan of citrus.... I do like to eat Oranges though. Alone this oil has an extremely powerful scent, so I wouldn't recommend laying it with perfume during the daytime as it could come off very strong.

I found the best results from this oil when using it at night, pre bed and mixing it with an unscented body lotion (I just used tre ordinary sorbelene cream) I would wake up the next morning with very nice hydrated skin.

I would say this is a rather fantastic mixer product and I grant bonus points because it does not leave a sticky residue.

Rachel's overall thoughts;
I really liked it, then again I like the smell of citrus. If you don't like citrus then you have to pass on this body oil.

I liked it best when I applied a few drops to my Aesop Geranium Body Balm. I woke up with my skin still feeling hydrated. I applied it at night time before bed. Its light weight so you could apply it during the day if your skin is really dehydrated.
