Hello Beauties, With winter upon us its essential to hydrate the skin. We were lucky enough to try out the Jamjahr Citrus Body Oil. Even though this was supplied to us to review, our opinions are 100% honest. About Jamjahr: Jamjahr is an Australian owned brand that prides itself on using natural, organic and raw materials. All products are handcrafted, free of harsh chemical and in environmentally friendly packaging. Thoughts: It has a strong citrus scent (not as overwhelming or repulsive as the Jurlique Citrus Body Lotion) Light weight Blends easy when applied alone Soaks fast into the skin Works well when you add a few drops into a body moisturiser No sticky feeling Steph's overall thoughts; I'm not a massive fan of citrus.... I do like to eat Oranges though. Alone this oil has an extremely powerful scent, so I wouldn't recommend laying it with perfume during the daytime as it could come off very strong. I found the best results from this oil when using it at night, pre bed and mixing it with an unscented body lotion (I just used tre ordinary sorbelene cream) I would wake up the next morning with very nice hydrated skin. I would say this is a rather fantastic mixer product and I grant bonus points because it does not leave a sticky residue. Rachel's overall thoughts; I really liked it, then again I like the smell of citrus. If you don't like citrus then you have to pass on this body oil. I liked it best when I applied a few drops to my Aesop Geranium Body Balm. I woke up with my skin still feeling hydrated. I applied it at night time before bed. "I have been using the Jamjahr exfoliating facial scrub and anti-ageing cream for over a month now and I have seen a big difference in the quality of my skin. With the scrub, my skin just seems to glow with inner health and I do not feel the need to apply makeup most days going to work. I love a good body oil especially one that not only smells good but also protects and hydrates my skin. Today, I bring you one of the body oils by an Australian skincare brand, Jamjahr which I have been using and loving over the past couple of weeks. Jamjahr, an Australian skincare brand which was established in 2011 are in the process of launching two new products into their skincare range, one of them being the Citrus Sinensis Body Oil. I was one of the lucky ones that was able to get my hands on one of these beauties! Jamjahr ensures that all their products contain active botanical extracts and organic materials. Each Jamjahr product is hand crafted and contains potent antioxidants and is free from harsh chemicals. The Citrus Sinensis Body Oil is a lightweight oil, which intends to aromatically uplift and provide the ultimate anti-oxidant protection. As the name suggests, this oil contains and smells strongly of citrus, now this may not be for everyone but if your like me and you enjoy fragrances such as citrus then you will love this. The body oil blends in easily to the skin and absorbs into the skin quickly without leaving a greasy or sticky effect. It is recommended that this oil should be applied to freshly cleansed skin, however I like to use it after cleansing my skin and before I go to bed simply because I love sleeping with freshly hydrated skin which means I get to wake up in the morning with my skin feeling fresh, hydrated and soft (and not to mention smelling gorgeous!). I find it that this oil is able to keep skin hydrated for longer as it contains ingredients such as pomegranate oil and is rich in vitamin C and vitamin B5. It also contains skin loving ingredients such as Safflower and Vitamin E to soften, restore, protect and radiate your skin. The body oil comes in a glass bottle with a dropper and is an ideal body oil to keep close by especially during winter when skin will be craving it the most!
